Optical transceivers transmit and receive optical signals in optical communications systems. An optical transceiver includes a transmitter optical sub-assembly (TOSA) to transmit outgoing optical signals and a receiver optical sub-assembly (ROSA) to receive incoming optical signals. Each of the TOSA and the ROSA includes an optical port, which is designed to be connected to a connector of a fiber optic cable, such as a patch cord, so that optical signals from and to the optical transceiver can be transmitted through the fiber optic cables connected to the TOSA and the ROSA.
1X9 optical transceiver
1X9 Optical transceiver is used on fiber optic devices such as the media converters, typically with 3.3V or 5V power, with SC duplex or ST duplex interface. Compliant with Telcordia standards, RoHS compliant products available.
GBIC optical transceiver
Gigabit Interface Converter is a low cost solution for interconnection between the switches and other equipment other high performance, or for point-to-point communication requiring gigabit or fiber channel interconnections. GBIC optical transceiver is hot plug gable, which allows a
suitably designed enclosure to be changed from one type of external interface to another simply by plugging in a GBIC having the alternative external interface.
SFF optical transceiver
SFF optical transceiver is similar in size to the SFP, but is soldered to the host board as a pin through-hole device, rather than plugged into an edge-card socket.
SFP optical transceiver & XFP optical transceiver
SFP optical transceiver is a small type GBIC optical transceiver module, function of SFP optical transceiver is almost same as GBIC optical transceiver , but its size is only half of GBIC optical transceiver . SFP optical transceiver is usually with dual LC interface, SFP optical transceiver can be regarded as an upgraded version of GBIC optical transceiver . XFP optical transceiver refer to 10G SFP optical transceiver .
We supply various kinds of optical transceiver modules, including 1X9 optical transceivers, GBIC optical transceivers and SFP optical transceivers, all compliant with international industry standards and compliant with devices of the world fiber optic manufacturers.
