Optical video transmitter can send the camera signal at real time via a single fiber, on the digital optical video receiver side, it will send the signal to computer screens and related devices, so that people can see what is being watched by the camera. With the Bi-directional data, people can send controlling data thought the digital optical fiber transceiver to control the moving of the camera, audio signals and Ethernet signals can also be sent via the single fiber line through the optical video transmitter and receiver.
Two function of optical video transceiver:Transmitter device and receiver Device :
The transmitter device receives the video output from the camera and transmits it over the fiber. In addition, the transmitter device receives the data stream over fiber and transmits it to the camera to control PTZ functionality.
The receiver device receives the video signal on fiber and converts it back to an analog composite video stream and outputs the video on coaxial cable to the monitor. In addition, the receiver device receives the data stream from the PTZ controller and transmits it over the fiber to the other end of the link.
All the conversion is performed in real time. Automatic gain control installed on both Transmitter and Receiver maintains desired quality of video´ S contrast and brightness for extended distance. No field adjustments are necessary.
